None of these terms & conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or changes to the terms & conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing and signed by us.

All transfers conducted through Rugs and Leather Co are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. We accept internet bank transfers, PayPal and Apple Pay payments.

Freight/Shipping Within New Zealand
We aim to get your goods to you as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. We use a courier agent, Payport, who partner with Poste Haste, NZ Couriers, and PBT .
All freight charges are billed to the customer.
We have no objection to customers wishing to use their own courier however, once the goods leave our premises we will not accept any liability for damages as these will be deemed to have occurred as a direct result of mishandling of the goods by yourselves or by your own courier.
International shipping unless otherwise stated is free..

All custom/special orders are not refundable or exchangeable. All special orders are final!
Merchandise returned will be subject to a 5% credit card processing fee and an additional 20% restocking fee. We do not accept COD deliveries and there are no refunds on shipping fees. All large merchandise that uses a freight company for shipping will not be refundable. All our products are handmade and our Returns & Exchange policy is strictly enforced.

The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to Rugs and Leather C0-Operative and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request Rugs and Leather Co to delete or correct the information held about you. By accepting the Rugs and Leather C0-Operative Conditions, you agree to the above.
Events outside Rugs and Leather Co’s control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Rugs and Leather Co is released from Rugs and Leather Co’s obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.
Samples may be purchased at wholesale price plus courier delivery fee.
Terms are pro forma and invoices can be paid by bank transfer, credit/debit card or PayPal (a transaction fee of 3% applies for PayPal).
A 70% deposit is required to seal orders of rugs and place goods on hold in our Marrakech warehouse/showroom. The remaining 30% is payable prior to delivery OR within 3 days of receipt of goods to approved clientele only.
Orders not paid within 1 week of invoicing will be cancelled and the goods returned to stock.
NZ Nationwide – Courier. We offer competitive rates from our couriers based on order size.
International – delivery terms are either ex Raglan for Australian customers via NZ Post International Express; or DHL or Fedex from Marrakesh, Morocco.
We offer a drop-shipping service for bulk orders to anywhere in the world direct from Morocco.
Any goods damaged in transit or discrepancies in an order must be notified in writing within 5 days of receipt of goods. Please provide clear photographic evidence for any claims.
If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to avoid any Customs charges. Rugs and Leather is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made.
We request that customers check the condition of parcels received. If outer packaging is damaged or if there are any items or boxes missing please note this when signing for the goods with the courier.
Rugs and Leather is only able to make a claim for goods missing or damaged in transit if this is stated clearly in writing on the delivery note of the courier company. Please notify us immediately if there are any problems with your delivery as we cannot be held liable for goods missing or damaged in transit if you fail to follow these procedures.
Please contact Rugs and Leather before returning any items. Notification of faulty goods must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery.
Please note that there are NO WARRANTIES on hand crafted product.
Pictures shown on the website may vary slightly from the products received. This is because all our products are individually crafted by hand in Morocco. Slight variations in products received should not be considered defective or damaged and they do not meet our requirements for a refund or exchange. Because of the hand crafted nature of the workmanship of our products this returns policy is strictly enforced.
• You can return the product within 7 days of delivery.
• The product must be in new condition.
• If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded.
• Make sure to provide us with a tracking number.
• We suggest you get a receipt and a Consignment ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed.
• Rugs and Leather will make a refund on eligible returns.
• If you paid by invoice, we will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to.
• The easiest way is to e-mail it to us along with a brief description of your case, accompanied by photographic evidence of your claim.
It is appropriate that the consumer controls the delivery to verify that this is accurate and error free. At the complaint, the customer contacts Rugs and Leather and gives relevant information and the reason for complaint, accompanied by photographic evidence.
Goods may only be returned by formal agreement between the seller and the purchaser and on receipt of a returns number from the seller. Returns must be accompanied with the purchaser’s name and address and a valid returns number.
Shipping expenses and risk are the purchaser’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Wholesalers are not permitted to set RRPs (Recommended Retail Prices).
SRPs (Suggested Retail Prices) range from 2 to 3 mark up. In consideration of fairness to all customers we request that there is no price discounting below a 1.8 mark up.
Rugs and Leather C0-Operative reserves the right to increase prices due to material and production costs inflating but these will be kept to a minimum and notice will be given in advance.
If you have a physical store and wish to sell Rugs and Leather C0-Operative products online we ask that you notify us first so that we can maintain brand integrity and distribution.
ALL Online sellers must be pre-approved by Rugs and Leather C0-Operative.
We are able to supply high resolution product images if required. It is important to note that Google and other search engines penalise duplicated text copy so we request that all product description text is unique to your site and not copied directly from Rugs and Leather C0-Operative’s website or other marketing material.

We are not able to supply to customers who wish to sell our Moroccan Sunset brand on Trade Me, eBay, Etsy or Amazon.
